I saw this post highlighted as I was browsing the airline programs page and was curious as all 3 Skyteam carriers (US based) have been using 752's TATL with varying degrees of success for some time now. Its nice to see that AA will have AVOD from the start, that was a flaw in some of the other 752 TATL flights.
Note that AA will only have AVOD PTVs up front in the J cabin on the 75L; Y will still be with the common overhead IFE (albeit with better LCD screens instead of the nasty old monitors)
As for the other 757 operators TATL:
CO: nose-to-tail AVOD PTVs in both cabins (I believe they recently finished reconfiguring all of them)
DL: nose-to-tail AVOD PTVs in both cabins (these are the ex-TWA/AA 757s)
NW: AVOD PTVs only in J (like AA); Y has overhead LCD screens however, NW has a very spacious Y cabin with only 144 Y seats in the same space that AA is squeezing 166.
