Well, UA used to top their ice cream with liquid gold, but, people were coming down with heavy metal poisoning midflight, and medical diversions became a nuisance, so, they switched to chocolate sauce.
No, you're right. It bewilders the mind to think that one of the main differences between the price differential of F and Y, is that Y often gets a piece of frigid cake, while F gets chocolate sauce. Let them eat cake, indeed.
