I was trying to play an mpg video on my Archos 504, and it gave me a warning that I need to buy the cinema plug-in from Archos.com

I went there, and they want 19.99 € for it

And Euros to top it all.

Is there an alternate way of playing these? Maybe a free plug in somewhere else?

I could convert the videos to AVI, but not if it's worth the hassle or effort.
