I have only been on one Brit Air flight, but my full-Y ticket and Elite Plus status didn't get me anything apart from a seat in row 7 or something. I don't think they do Tempo Challenge.
However, I did get access to the contract lounge in ZAG (and not because of my status).

Correct. There is absolutely nothing premium about A fares on AF- as a matter of fact, they are quite restricted.
