Update- After posting the original message I logged out of my Gold Membership and checked the price. I am doing a one month rental out of PHX. The difference? $200! So, to get Gold Service I have to pay a $200 upcharge.

Like I said originally I don't care that much about the cancel fee.

IMO this is clearly a back door price increase for Gold Service- nothing more. To get gold service I have to pay an extra $200 for my rental. The slimliness comes from how they hide it. They could just call it like it is - "Gold Fee" - but instead the go through Orwellian BS to hide it.

They guys who invented this must have been hired away from TicketMaster.
