Tell me about it!!

I really wanted to book the LBA-CPH and then connect to SVG but the conections were terrible and the prices were just silly.. and I mean REALLY silly - 600GBP+ Grrrrr... and there's only 2 connections.. either late at night or late afternoon.. what good is that to anyone??

So, I look at LBA-LHR-SVG and it's the same story.

I am currently on the MAN-CPH-SVG and in March trying the MAN-LHR-SVG but the prices are astronomical if you don't catch the cheap fares. It is getting really difficult to justify anything over £280 for this return as you can get AFKL (beaugh) for £280 at about 3 days notice and they have 3 or 4 connections a day, including the early morning one that gets to SVG at 11am which means you get a half day in the office.

LBA-FRA would be interesting, but if I recall, the FRA-SVG flight is only once daily and gets in after lunch some time.

This is SAS's home market.. they should have it stitched up!!

Oh and ref Sir Jimmy Saville Intl...... What a total dump.... I have never, ever in my life, experienced incompetence of the order of magnitude that is LBA, rude, disinterested staff who do nothing to be helpful to anyone... Toy policemen in security who seem to think that they have a right to be bullish, rude and inefficient.

Infact, there are only three staff who I think do a great job: the cheerful middle-aged man in the bar downstairs; the lounge dragons, and; the eastern european girl who works on the czech-in (geddit?) I think she is Circus Air. Everyone else I have ever encountered in any sort of service interaction has been deeply disappointing.

(Disclaimer.. my only experience is AFKL/CircusAir - your experience may differ, but it is unlikely..)
