Sorry, Southside Jax, you are right it is all real. I feel like some has been ruined by overdevelopment.Maybe my choice of words could have been better. My family has been in Florida since the 1920's.The term "Real Florida" was originated by Jeff Klinkenberg of the St. Petersburg Times, a native.I enjoy showing friends all over Florida, I hope people won't just zip into Disney and fly back home.Northwoods, please see as much of Florida as you can.At least I'm not like Carl Hiassen of the Miami Herald, who (sarcastically) would like to ban air conditioning to drive all the non natives out!
