Oh this just gets better. My travel agent rebooked my tix through Rome and then went to cancel my Air France tix. She was told that the tix are not refundable or able to be changed in any way. So there goes AUD2,100 if I cancel them. Totally outrageous fare but what do you do!

So now I am going back to the original schedule. The AF flight is a code share with Brit Air and the fare class is A and when it prints out on the itinerary it comes up as Premium. Now I assume (dangerous thing) that this means 'first class' but I may be mistaken. The plane itself is one class - economy although if you try to book a fare it will let you book business.

I searched on AF website and found that if you are flying first that you can use the lounge and they also have a business class lounge. So I am hoping that my fare class will allow me to use one or the other. Thanks for the suggestion graraps.

My itinerary has me flying into Terminal A (generated from agent's booking) but when I went to the AF website and put in arriving from and departing from it came up as arriving in Terminal E and departing for Genoa from Terminal G.
