My thought is no difference than when you hear them paging "Remaining passenger Mr. xyz, your flight is now closing at Gate xx" because the person is sitting at the bar, shopping or just lost.

Maybe Adrian, Can I Help You or Sunrisegirl can provide an operational perspective on having the 35-minute cut-off vs. the old way?
