I remember that discussion

It's sad to hear about the changes officially kicking-in . I've always been approvingly amused with the fact that Switzerland, I believe the only one in Europe, allowed easy entry for US Permanent residents. This doesn't personally affect me but a close friend who loves visiting Lucerne with me will not be able to do so as easily as before.
