I somehow manage to avoid the $75 fee they charge for booking a reward ticket within 15-20 days of travel by finding by booking a ticket, then I decided I would have too few days on the ground so called back within 24 hours to move up my departure date. I asked the ticket agent if I would be hit with the service fee but he said no since I made the change within 24 hours.
