A work colleague will be staying at a half dozen USA Hyatt's next month doing consulting in various larger cities.
He has no Hyatt status and thought I'd ask if there are any easy to access promos around that he can get the mid level Plat card before he starts off, so at least he'll get some Bennies right from day #1.
Starwood seem to have Gold cards on open offer on ebay for $35 even (probably TA's selling what they should be comping good clients!) but he said he could not see anything from Hyatt on offer - maybe they are more vigilant than Starwood?
Any input appreciated.
