To hear that an El Al plane was in such a situation is totally unacceptable, it makes me feel frightened and sad, it should not happen. And there were times when such an occurence would have been really impossible with an El Al plane.
I used to also believe that LY is the safest airline around both on the ground or in the air. However with the incidents over the past years it is definetly clear that they are not better than other safe airlines, and rather a bit less safe then some other airlines. On top of that every LY fligh is in possible danger of being a target of terrorists altough at least when it comes to that criteria LY is unbeatable the safest airline in the world. However in the past I used to believe that LY is unbeatable with safety in all criterias.
