We flew from PHL-IND on an 170 and back on a 175. The overheads are far more spacious than a CRJ-200, but not as roomy as the A320 family. Our Travelpro's fit, but they would not go in wheels first. They had to go lengthwise. On the other hand, with only 2 seats per row, there is a fair amount of overhead space. The area under the seats is also roomy. Our son put his carryon under the seat.
