Trust me on this, you would if you are familiar with OZ's planes. The plane I was on had the generation of C seats before the old UA C seats. I think I read from someone's comment after they saw the photo of that seat, saying it looks like a worn VS PY seat.

What if I say you are scheduled to be on the UA 747, all but one has old seats, and you end up on the one, you know in advance the seats are totally falling part (seats stuck in upright position cannot recline), many seats PTV not working, you know XF is available, what would you do ?

Will I argue over the rules like that if the 74M has the new C seats ? NO.
