OZ agent correctly understands you ARE ticketed in I, not O, on the HKG-ICN segment and has no obligation to change this!

ORDnHKG incorrectly thought he was ticketed in O all the way. NOT TRUE.

UA (and ONLY UA) could/should move you to O on that segment, if they choose to. Another rule UA has they could apply is no changes can be made to a Star booking within 24 hours of departure.

Do I like the rules? NO. Will I argue over the rules like that? NO.
