Flying Domestic Planes Internationally

I was about to book UA 938 (ORD-LHR) on 24 Feb in (discounted) C. It’s appears to be a 2 class plane. What a joke if it really is. The seat map is for a domestic 767, so C is for sale as domestic F. GS agents were no help and wrong when I inquired. I wanted C for int’l F. Sorry UA, not falling for that super bait and switch.

Anyone else experienced anything like this to/from Europe? And I thought all the 767’s were (mostly) done by now?
