I think I was just looking at the same flights you're considering, and I saw the same thing that ikura had mentioned - 702 EUR on the German site, and $913 on the US site, basically the same thing. The AA website sometimes shows fares that then disappear when you actually try to buy it, saying the inventory is then gone. I wonder if that's what's happened here? Were you able to actually hold those flights on the US site?
I tried reserving these on the US site and was initially offered the lower fare (N) DUS-MIA, but it came back as not available when I selected it. I was instead offered the same fare, but DUS-LHR-ORD-MIA. Looking at EF, there is no N inventory DUS-LHR-MIA on 7 April, but it is available 8 April.
So if you need those dates, consider DUS-LHR-ORD-MIA, or look at alternate dates.
I would also expect that there will be some reduced fares to the US in the next few weeks (I am waiting to book for April), but it is a gamble.
