The only reason I take the US Shuttle is to get the status miles. The train is sooooo much nicer. Even the standard Metroliner was a joy to ride. I could get a first class seat for about the price of a shuttle ticket and get a decent meal and get a lot of work done. And it was a lot less of a hassle. However, I actually dont think the change to 737s in itself will cost them that much. Most people on the shuttle go the the airport and if it is closer to the hour they take US, the half hour, they take DL.
