I think I was just looking at the same flights you're considering, and I saw the same thing that ikura had mentioned - 702 EUR on the German site, and $913 on the US site, basically the same thing. The AA website sometimes shows fares that then disappear when you actually try to buy it, saying the inventory is then gone. I wonder if that's what's happened here? Were you able to actually hold those flights on the US site?
