Didn't want to start a separate thread (mods, should I have done so?) but I got a mail today from a local TA advertising Etihad business class flights from JNB to just about anywhere. Sample fares including taxes (divide by ten for USD):

New York R15 975

Must be booked by 28 Feb for departure by 31 March.

I haven't seen J fares this low for at least a decade!
