We went to the UA ticket/service counter next to the checkin counter. She showed me a paper saying that is what she got from US office, once award travel begins, no changes allowed. I then told her i had called the US awards line and the HK res.line the assure I should be able to change from C to F. She wouldn't listen and we argue on that issue for 30 min. I will probably write up to CS about this HKG lady.

....."SHE WOULDN'T LISTEN AND WE ARGUE FOR 30 MINUTES"........This, my friends is a perfect example of a passenger who simply can't take "no" for an answer - after being shown in writing that no changes are allowed once travel begins !! Then he wants to write up the HKG customer service agent. Unbelievable. I hardly think she wanted to argue for 30 minutes. It's just another case of not getting what he wants on his terms. I can never understand how passengers say "they told me I could.....it was okay......etc. etc. but they don't make the change over the phone. If it's all so okay why didn't he change it over the phone when he was told it was supposedly allowed -?? So just argue and fight with CSRs at the end of the line instead of squaring it away on the initial discussion.
