I've never flown an ATR-72 before; AA seems to mostly fly them out of Miami.

How much overhead space is there on this turboprop as compared to a CRJ? My carry-on bag (non-roller, soft-sided bag) fits fine on the small CRJ overhead. Will I have any problem on an ATR? I assume that like a CRJ, a rollerboard will not fit overhead on this aircraft.
