The only fried pickles I thought were ever any good were the fried hamburger-sliced pickles at Hooters. But they aren't available at all Hooters - weren't on the menu in Richmond, VA.
many of the microbrewery restaurant / gastropub type places in DFW seem to have it on the menu (e.g. Two Rows, Gordon Biersch, etc.)
