I honestly think the consolidation of NW/DL gates could have a ripple affect on most of DCA. In my mind, it would make sense to swap CO with AA (PC w/ Admiral Room too), have all of Pier B be DL/NW. With NW departing Terminal A, slots open up for new routes....THAT is exciting.
I believe AA uses 6 gates on the center pier, while the CO wing only has 4 gates. The DL pier has 8 gates, could NW fit in there IF they could get some remote parking positions/ remote boarding for the connection/airlink flights like US does?
