When its down to the crew you're going to get good and bad from both stations. But the better ones are certainly in the majority.

I've had a terrible crew member from BCN to LGW who sat down in 3D straight after throwing dinner at me to read Hello!

But I've also had a really wonderful crew member from LGW who when I stopped them to ask for an extra GnT on the descent into AMS, made me feel like asking them for the drink was quite possibly the finest honour I could have ever given them.

The lounge at LGW is pretty decent, if not as swanky as the Galleries. Check-in/Bag drop for CE has always been very quick and if anything more personable and warm than the miserable staff I've had at zone H in T5.
