In answer to G-BOAC's questions please see the following:

-1) How it should work for CE - where do R and I class fit in to the CE pricing/fares and the fixed price upgrade process these days? The I class used for the fixed upgrade process online is assigned only for this purpose and would not be sold anywhere else other than this channel.

2) Do I class CE fares continue to award TPs/miles (whether booked direct 'all at once' as BahrainLad's MUC example shows, or whether done as a fixed price upgrade through MMB after booking an ET fare)? Yes they do continue to earn points and miles.

3) Is it correct for WT -> WT+ to book in P?Yes - it's a different allocation to the redemption capacity used by P class

4) If so, can it be clarified where P stands in this situation - i.e., does it earn WT+ points/miles when part of a paid upgrade but not an award booking? P earns miles and points for paid upgrades but not as a redemption booking - our systems can distinguish between which is a commercial and which is a redemption booking

5) Can WT -> WT+ in to P class upgrades be MFU'd? Sam - P is considered redemption so can't be - are there any plans to fix this? I will need to investigate this further and come back to you. If anyone has a booking in the interim please PM me and I will see what I can do to help.

There is a bug on ba.com which you have picked up on which is advising members they will not be awarded points and miles - Dilly picked up on this and is progressing a fix as we speak.
