18 is the pick of the litter: close to the beach, but no tent on its west side, and that "road" (really just a path, though resort vehicles do use it for maintenance, and to get to/from the service jetty) is fully screened off by trees.
20 and 22 are a nice pair, if you need two together. But the path is between you and the beach.
As between 16, 14, and 12: not much difference. Generally, further from the Bar/restaurant, the more private. Keep in mind that none of the tents are inside their own compounds -- it's not like Amandari or Amankila. Guests and hotel maintenance folks do wander by your front door from time to time.
The good thing about 16-22 is that they are closest to the outdoor Jungle Spa and the Music Pavilion - both of which are extremely tranquil spots. Quite a walk, though, to the restaurant etc.
