Well, interestingly, I initially refused the business class upgrade and booked it in economy as I suspected the taxes would be higher, but the ICC operator checked and confirmed the taxes would be the same.
The only difference business class would make on this route would be a hot breakfast so I didn't think paying GBP10 would be worth it, as nice as it was.
