Just spoke to BA and they confirmed that in this case only an H class can be upgraded, pricing out at £400 plus.

If I use miles and go Club Europe both ways its still £99 plus 12,000 miles, saving £200. I'd be better off keeping those miles for a WT+ to CW MFU in the future and potentially saving £2000.
