Many thanks for the recommendation. I have been using knock-off MB fountain pens from Beijing and the tips are terrible. Just went to JoonPen and picked up a plastic safari -- shiny black w/ fine nib and converter.

My next step is to try to improve my handwriting


PS - FWIW, knockoff MB's never leak on short or long flights!
