Hi all,
My friend left his laptop power cord on AA231 MIA-LAX on Feb 5, 2009. He called AA LAX lost and found, but was told they didn't have it. Is there a way to find out ONLINE where the aircraft (a 762) went next so he can call the lost and found there to see if it turned up?
This may be purely an academic exercise, since, from what I can tell from the PDF schedule there is only outbound 762 flights to MIA and JFK from LAX... is this correct? (Oddly enough, there seems to be a BOS-LAX flight on a 762, but I can't find a flight on a 762 arriving in BOS from ANY destination... is this an error, or how does it get to BOS?). If this is true, he should obviously just call JFK and MIA lost and found, but I'd still like to find the answer in case this should to someone else on something with a more complicated schedule than a 762 - like a 737 to and then out of MIA or a M80 in and then out of DFW.
I'm guessing we'll need the tail number to start... my search found
this thread, but since it was a recent flight, the flight doesn't show up. I thought flightstats.com might have it, but I couldn't find it there either (even using all the tools available once logging in). I also found
this thread asking a similar question, but it didn't give me an answer.
If it's impossible to figure out over the intertubes, then so be it, but I thought I'd turn the problem over to the experts and see if anyone can help...
Thanks everyone in advance!
