I'd say Asian>European>Air Canada>American.

If American carriers are to get better, they NEED to kill those unions and fire the incompetent "I hate my job" flight attendants. "You hate your job? Let me put you out of your misery. You're fired." Unions might have brought on positive changes in terms of rest time and whatever else, but they've infected the airlines with a culture of sickening entitlement. They need to stop blocking the airlines from firing incompetent, I-hate-my-job types. Whether they like it or not, they're in a customer facing position and if they hate their customers or aren't willing to provide excellent service, they should go find a new job. Perhaps at the DMV. Wait, I've had better service at the DMV than I've had at United Airlines. At least the DMV employees on the phone speak proper English

As far as I know, most Korean Air planes have 34" pitch (well at least Asiana does ) which is equivalent to econ plus.
