Did you get Sudoku for your DS? So much easier. Except it always thinks my 1 is a 7.

Mostly I sleep on the plane but that's because I'm usually on a CRJ and there just isn't the elbow room to do much else. When I do have room however, I read, play on the DS or if there's AVOD watch something or play trivia against the other passengers. I still carry my ipod with me but I don't think its had a charge on it in over a year. It really only ever got used for longhaul when I was ready to go to sleep. Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky for sleepy time. No Bach lullabies for me, mostly piano and violin concertos.
