The web site should be changed so if someone does the former, at least there's something saying "This reservation was made using EasyBiz. Please login to EasyBiz to make a change to it.". This would prevent dummies like me from just assuming that I could never change my reservations online. In the past, the only time I ever logged into EasyBiz was to make a new reservation since I could always view my res, make seat changes, etc. through the normal web site under my individual login.
It seems the proposal may be technically feasible (depending on how the reservation is marked with its form of purchase (alaskaair.com/phone/easybiz/travel agent)...
I also note that alaskaair.com is getting smarter

as it can tell when a ecert is about to expire without going into the prompt window that lists the 'ecert terms'. The cert I was using expired last night, and as I was booking it said to book soon since it expired at midnight PST... and once it was booked and it passed that time, inserting the code said what date and time it expired.
