I've just found this forum and as my first post I hope that after many years of complete bewilderment someone can explain to me why when I have a flexible BA ticket which I then upgrade with miles (typically Prem Econ to Club) why do BA steal my miles (for the upgrade) when I change the date of the flight?

So far this year alone I have lost over 100,000 mile (another 25,000 today). I really have never been able to get any logical (reasonable) explanation and it really feels like theft!!
