Where did dazz81 or anyone else here say that saving money makes you great in Thailand? I certainly didn't see such a comment. Please point it out if I missed it. Many of us don't care what the Thailand Tourism authorities care about us and whether they consider us 'quality tourists' or not. But if you're so full of yourself and find the need to show off how much money you have and to be praised by them for spending huge amounts of money to prove that you're an 'elegant traveller', then by all means do so. But do not come on here and try to tell us how to spend our money and how to behave in Thailand. That is for us to decide and not you.

You've obviously gotten off on the wrong foot with a lot of us here and I predict you will not last long if your attitude continues like you've been doing. As has been suggested, consider taking a time out from posting and simply read other's posts and learn what is the mood here before posting more, rather than continuing to alienate the readers with your overly critical remarks.
