Good point. However this should allow Western carriers to manage priority bags equally well on long-haul, wide-body flights, but I have not seen this happen on dozens of long-haul flights in the last year on BA, KLM, AA, Qantas etc on wide-bodies. But pretty much 100% success rate with SIA, JAL, Cathay, Jet, Qatar.
