Looks like we can get tickets for 250 USS from Guangzhou to Delhi via Beijing. That's excellent! However it's odd that the fare is the same if booked from Beijing.

Last spring I purchased some wonderfully discounted oneway fares from China Southern's website

at levels I was unable to obtain either at China Southern in-town offices or through other online agencies (i.e. elong and ctrip). In addition to being extremely cheap and convenient, tickets purchased online at their site permitted us to checkin online, print out boarding passes, and assign ourselves bulkhead and exit row seats. [On each of the three flights my wife and I appeared to be the only passengers with boarding passes not printed at the airport.]
That all said, these were for intra-China flights, and I'm not seeing how to purchase international tickets directly from that site.....
