I stayed several times at the Sofitel New York after enrolling in A|Club, showing my number each time. None posted. I followed up by email and then faxed in the receipts - but the initial request was rejected as apparently the faxes received were "illegible". Tried again this week, resubmitting the details last Sunday by email (using a scanned fax, converted from .tif to .jpg, as the attachment in each case - a right royal pain)! Emails came through on Thursday finally crediting the points, with an additional email on Friday saying that the Gold card is on its way!

I received the double points bonuses for all stays, but did not receive any Elite bonuses. Does anyone think it's worth calling the customer service line to ask for retrospective Elite bonuses (after my first stay I should have been Silver; after my second I should have been Gold, so I would be expecting 1 extra point per Euro on stay 2, and 1.5 extra points per Euro on stays 3 and 4)?
