My best record is wheels touch down, and no less than 14 minutes later I was in a car being whisked away with my suitcase in the back, this was at an Asian airport. I regular fly into MAN on BA in UK, the plane is usually parked about 100 mt away from the baggage collection belt. It takes longer to get the luggage than it does to fly beyween LHR and MAN and the it is amazing how many times it gets damaged. The staff at Manchester have a permanent look on there face that says " I dont want to be here " I have watched them launching luggage straight from the belly of the plane onto the tarmac, yet it appears supervisors or managers are obviously visually impaired as a pre qualification to geting their job as if you mention it to them they simply ask you to fill a form out and complain to the airport manager.
