You're dealing with an irrational fear. There's no shame in that. Usually exposure to the perceived risk is recommended, but that doesn't seem to be working in your case. Maybe a few sessions with a psychotherapist might help. Or perhaps you might look up the safety data on commercial aviation (big jets or regionals). Yes, you face risk when you board an aircraft, but it is very small compared to most other risks you face in life.
