Hello Chrispy - thanks for your interest.

Well it was a rather splendid affair at the Prism restaurant in the City.

A beautiful creamy apple & parsnip type soup with parsnip crisps, was followed by a very tasty roasted salmon with lentil puree and fig. Dessert was chocolate mousse, banana sponge and white chocolate ice cream. All washed down with some rather lovely Cloudy Bay sauvignon blanc. The company was wonderful (but I'll let that person tell you who he was if he wants to ) and it was a great treat for my birthday.

Unfortunately my dining companion had to return to work so I went for a little browse around London which was fun. Though I did get a little caught up in the taxi drivers protest, as well as the diversions following a fire in the City.

Evening was spent relaxing with family and friends and opening my cards and pressies - perfume, chocolate, handbags (a lady can never have too many!!) - and a few glasses of bubbly given to me by a passenger at Christmas.

I'm pleased to say I woke this morning with a clear head and not looking a day over 22 So, sorry, on this occasion no tale of debauchery and drunkenness

PS - PUCCI darling, on this occasion I was a good girl. I didn't go off with Phil the Flyer
