Used the Red Carpet Club Yesterday in ORD

I was doing my once per quarter command performance to the home office in Chicago and as usual flew UA which I can do non-stop from MHT. I was comped Premier status this year with them, and I have to tell you that the Economy Plus section of the plane is the major draw for me.

Anyway, I took advantage of my U-Club reciprocity and used the Red Carpet Club on Concourse C twice yesterday, am & pm.

In the am, the Club was pretty empty. It was about 6:15. They had yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc... It was fine.

In the afternoon, they had FABULOUS snacks compared to U-Club. Fruit, veggies, cheese, crackers - it was great! And they have wait staff to take drink orders so you don't have to leave your possessions unattended.

It was very crowded at 4:00 pm, but there were still lots of seats.

The only thing I did not like was the seating arrangement. They have row after row of single file arm-chairs, it looked like a movie theater! Weird, and not conducive to conversation at all. People just sat kind of staring straight ahead.

It was wonderful to have the use of that club with my 2+ hour layover.
