There is a military school not far from my airport. One day, a while back, a bunch of the teenage kids from the military school were coming through the checkpoint in their school uniforms. One of my coworkers, who was on mag at the time, stopped each one, shook his hand, and thanked him for his service.

Once it quieted down, a sup pulled her aside and explained that these kids were not actually in the military, and she should have been telling them to "straighten up" or "get their act together."

Best part of the story? School's name was on the uniforms.
