As mentioned by stargold your best shot is to change your flight to the 744 (while it is still operating this route) and then try to do the Star Alliance upgrade from Eco to Biz via EB. On A380, 77W, A345 no Biz / First seats are available (except for a recent blip for a day) for Star Alliance partner redemption. Not for full flight awards and not for upgrades. On the 744 you got a shot. I upgraded FRA-SIN on SQ25 about 3 days before departure.
