Other than the info in Post #2, other factors may or may not include (ie speculation):
- Time of Day at departure city vs. destination
- Comparisons of what competing airlines offer
- Amount of revenue earned from premium passengers on the route
- Logistics of aircraft and catering contract differences at each station/airport/hub
- Selected routes are Flagship service and have their own AA AAlgorithm
