I'm not going to pile onto the "how self, what about other people" sentiments, that's covered. Viewing the situation from within the actor's own perspective, that is seemingly complete selfishness, why would they want to deal with an itching, complaining kid on even the shortest of flights and vacation? Wouldn't the constant calamine and aveeno baths effectively ruin even the drabbest of vacation plans?
