There is a theory that the whole environment and global warming issue is giving many people (journalists, lobbying people and more) so much work and money, they by themselves have the interest to keep it going and exaggerate their reports in order to enhance their jobs.

Just like this, Zohar Blumenkrantz is the aviation reporter for Haaretz and I see that I'm not the only one to believe that the guy lacks basic knowledge and blows his reports way over the reasonable proportions - maybe to justify his job and maybe just because he likes it.

Modern planes have anti crash defense systems and as I understand the story, the plane was lower than needed and maybe even the alarm went off. This is a serious incident for the airline that shows the captain was doing things very wrong but from this to crashing the plane on the hills there is still a great distance.
