Yes, if someone is extremely large because they refuse to look after their bodies and stuff their face with unreasonable amounts of KFC and other sorts of fast food......they should be forced to pay for a 2nd seat. Why should I suffer on a flight because someone else abuses their body? Obviously, medical conditions should be on a case-by-case basis.
